A currency index helps paint a big picture of the general health of an economy. An index may also help find long term trends. We believe a well informed trader is a successful trader.

The EggDx™ currency indexes measure the performance of the US Dollar, EURO, and Yen against a basket of major currencies. In the USD index we use AUD, EUR, GBP, CAD, CHF, and JPY to gauge the overall appetite for US Dollar in global market. To calculate the EURO index we use EUR/USD, EUR/CHF, EUR/JPY, EUR/GBP, EUR/CAD, EUR/NZD, and EUR/AUD to determine the purchasing power of the EURO. For the Yen index we use USD/JPY, EUR/JPY, CHF/JPY, GBP/JPY, and NZD/JPY to establish the general health of the Yen.
